The Program

The International School of Curacao (ISC) Scholarship Program is established to support the education of highly motivated and talented students residing in Curacao who owing to financial reasons could not otherwise enroll at the School. ISC seeks to enroll students who will add to the already diverse population and who will contribute to the excellence expected at the School. Students applying for a scholarship will have to show proof of financial need, and excellence in their education.

The Mission

The International School of Curacao strives to prepare children of merit so that they can develop their potential and skills in all academic areas, towards making a marked difference in the future of our societies. These children will pursue with excellence their studies, and impact the world by advancing their intellectual capacities, leadership potential and future careers.

Eligibility

The International School of Curacao Scholarship Program seeks highly motivated candidates between the ages of 12-16 who wish to pursue their education in a private, US based curriculum school, where English is the medium of instruction.

Candidates need to apply in writing for consideration.

Successful candidates should possess the following qualities:

1. Resident of Curacao

2. Solid academic record

3. A commitment to excellence

4. A desire to enroll in a private, US based curriculum school, where English is the medium of instruction

5. Highly motivated

6. Able to prove financial need.

(Current ISC students can not apply for this scholarship)

How to Apply

There are six components to the application process:

1. Student Application form (see below)

2. Academic transcript/s, report cards (current year and 2 previous years)

3. Educator/Counselor Recommendation Form (see below) to be filled out by current school

4. Two letters of recommendation from a teacher who can vouch for the student's academic performance and credentials.

5. Photograph (passport size)

6. A short biographical statement by the student telling the School about yourself, and the passion and excellence that makes you a successful candidate for the International School of Curacao Scholarship Program.

7. Proof of financial need (copies of salary slip, tax returns, and/or any other financial information deemed necessary to prove financial need.)
